Sir Brian is a cadet member of the extensive du Boys family who has married Katharine, daughter of the wealthy wool merchant Philip le Fleming, a business associate of Sir Geoffrey's.
Sir Brian is a veteran campaigner and an enthusiast for the joust and for matters of vexillation. He is a squire of the body to Sir Geoffrey and also serves as steward to the travelling household. |
