Thomas of Calais was born in Calais to a merchant family who settled there after Edward III took it.
He has made his life as a soldier, seeking ever to raise himself to the status of a man-at-arms. He was brought to Sir Geoffrey's attention by the fabled Sir Dunstan long ago in the Aquitaine and has served him on and off as an archer since then. |
